Meet Kevin Carter, a seasoned advisor and angel investor who served as a General Partner at SV Angel, a prominent venture capital firm. With a career spanning over a decade, Kevin has left a mark on the startup world by originating investments in a slew of successful companies such as Snapchat, Pinterest, Casper, and GroupMe, to name a few. Kevin's work with FarmLogs, Remix, Amplitude, and Optimizely has also been notable. Forbes Magazine recognized him as one of the 30 under 30 in 2012 and 2013. Before joining SV Angel, Kevin worked at Silicon Valley Bank's Private Equity Group, where he helped manage cross-platform relationships and performed diligence. He had also worked at Affinity Circles, Inc. as a sales and client account manager. Kevin has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and International Business from Santa Clara University, where he established the CIE Mentor Program and was awarded the "Outstanding Student Entrepreneur. He has also completed international studies at Stevens Institute of Technology and high school in Bellevue, WA.
