Christensen has worked across various domains, including academics, suppliers, and hearing aid manufacturing. She has managed effective teams across several sites, including multiple countries.

Christensen's professional journey includes leadership roles at GN Group, Etymotic Research, Inc., and Louisiana State University. She has also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Rush University Medical Center and Northwestern University. With her diverse professional background, Christensen has honed her skills in building efficient teams, product management, marketing, and regulatory issues.

In her current role as the Chief Audiology Officer at GN Group, she oversees audiology across the entire organization, including the regions of Europe, the USA, and Asia Pacific. Her focus is to empower people with hearing loss with the latest hearing solutions.
