International Account Manager

In my role as International Account Officer Financial Services within the Global Client Solutions department I was responsible for:

- Contributing to our corporate objectives by acquiring, developing, and retaining sustainable profitable international relationships with Randstad's largest global financial services clients (Fortune 500 financial institutions).  
- The international coordination of tenders, RfP's, RfI's and contracts for our global financial services clients.
- Take care of structural knowledge transfer and expansion on international accounts.
- Cooperate internationally with the whole Randstad organization in such a way that agreements with our international clients are well prepared, followed up and developed in the most effective (resulting in swift sales increase) and efficient (resulting in a higher OP) way.
- Gathering market trends information and industry developments and translate these into new business opportunities (internally and externally).
- Enriche the central source of client information to enhance GCS client relationships and client knowledge within our OPCO's globally.

Randstad

International Account Officer Financial Services

Business manager of the banking team of Yacht (one of Randstad's Professionals labels).

- Responsible for generating new business.
- Point of escalation for employees of Yacht.
- Responsible for translating market developments into concrete business advices and opportunities.
- Responsible for organising client and network events.

Business Manager Banking

Senior consultant at Tempo-Team Professionals (one of Randstad's Professionals labels). 
 
- Responsible for the recruitment of professionals.
- Responsible for the sales towards new and existing clients in the market.
- Responsible for organising events and marketing initiatives to recruit new professionals and generate new business.
- Responsible for the acquisition of new clients.

Senior Consultant

The Securities Services International Securities Expertise Centre (ISEC) provides three different services to its internal stakeholders.

1) Network Management:

- Responsible for the selection, performance evaluation, and expansion of ING Group's securities services provider network (e.g. sub-custodians, brokers, clearing houses). 
- Perform ongoing evaluations of each provider and maintain close relations with the existing providers in our mission to ensure that a high level of service quality is delivered at a reasonable cost level. 
- Act as a primary contact in relationship matters, account inquiries, market issues, etc.

2) International Securities Affairs (ISA):

- Formulate a clear and aligned Securities Strategy for ING, based on strategic choices by segments and products.
- Formulate and communicate a single voice on securities subjects (internal and external).
- Support ING’s business strategy in market infrastructure developments and initiatives.

3) Qualified Intermediary (QI):

- Strategic & Advisory task (e.g. impact new US tax rules/ new QI rules) 
- Coordinating role, e.g. QI audit, tax reporting, liaison between the IRS and the business if needed, liaison sub custodians 
- Final check on and monitoring validity of client tax documentation 
- Perform a plausibility check on the US tax reporting received from the ING BU’s 
- Send timely the aggregated QI tax reporting to the IRS

Project Manager @ ING International Securities Expertise Centre (ISEC)

Ring is a global network for high potentials within ING Group. I have been responsible for setting up new Ring chapters worldwide and the support of the existing ones. I managed a team of 4 people (from different business units and cultures) who were responsible for different parts of the world.

Ring Foreign Board (Chairman)

The objectives of the Network Management function are to maximize the effectiveness of managing provider relations, to further consolidate the network of providers and consequently to maximize INGs' purchasing power.

Within this role I was:

- Responsible for the selection, performance evaluation, and expansion of ING Group's securities services provider network (e.g. sub-custodians, brokers, clearing houses).
