Ching-Wei Chang

Ching-Wei Chang is a highly skilled Data Scientist with a vast array of expertise and skills in various fields such as digital signal processing, multivariate analysis, algorithm development, computational biology, and biomedical imaging. He has a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University. Ching-Wei is passionate about disease treatments and drug development using molecular biology techniques, cell-based assays, and high-content analysis.

Ching-Wei's professional experience includes roles as a Senior Image Analysis Scientist, Image Analysis Scientist, Staff Research Engineer, Postdoctoral Scholar, Research Associate, Guest Lecturer, Research Fellow, and Teaching Assistant at various prestigious institutions such as Advanced Cell Diagnostics, Stanford University, UC Berkley, University of Michigan, and Marine Biological Laboratory. He has expertise in a wide range of tools, including MATLAB, R, Python, Java, C, C++, LabView, and Fortran, and has worked on projects in digital image processing, large-scale image analysis, bioimage informatics, genomics, transcriptomics, and mathematical modeling.
