Gilles Stassen

Gilles Stassen is a professional based in Singapore with a robust background in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Currently serving as a Senior Structurer for P&C Reinsurance at Swiss Re, Gilles specializes in structuring reinsurance solutions for clients in Southeast Asia and India. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Property Treaty Underwriter in the London Market. Gilles holds a Master's degree in Physics from Imperial College London and began his career at Swiss Re in Zürich, where he was part of the Sustainable Development team, focusing on developing probabilistic catastrophe models. He is also pursuing qualification as an actuary with the IFoA to further enhance his expertise in the re/insurance field.
