Shih Yann Loo is a prominent figure in the international intellectual property law scene, currently serving as a partner at renowned firm Baker McKenzie. With an LL.M. from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an LL.B. from Queen Mary University of London, Loo has a solid educational foundation. He is an Asia Pacific representative on the firm's Global Executive Committee and a key player on the Management Committee that established and manages Baker McKenzie FenXun Joint Operation in China. In this role, Loo leads cross-border litigation and enforcement across the Greater China region for the firm’s clients. His extensive litigation and enforcement experience has helped him secure landmark intellectual property cases, winning him accolades such as “leading individual” by Chambers Asia Pacific, World Trademark Review 1000, and Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific. When not litigating, Loo drives quality and innovation at Baker McKenzie and acts as a bridge between East and West for clients going out of or coming into China and Asia.
