S. Jacob Scherr

S. Scherr, with a background in Political Science and Law, dedicated nearly four decades to environmental advocacy and law at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Post his tenure at NRDC, Scherr focused on creating a new global framework to expedite actions for climate change and sustainable development, notably co-producing an art installation at the Eiffel Tower post Paris Climate Summit in 2015.

Scherr's recent endeavors include involvement in the 2018 Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, aiming to propel transformations in various sectors like energy, transport, and construction.

He emphasizes the importance of leveraging big data and artificial intelligence (AI) in advocating and ensuring accountability in climate actions.

Currently serving as the Principal at Cathedral Heights Consulting, LLC, Scherr's past involvements range from being a Board Member at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital to holding key positions at NRDC.
