Dr. Nasr Alkadi has over 15 years of experience in energy, ecology, and sustainability, having made significant contributions to the industry through successful project execution, innovative technology design and deployment, and expertise in low carbon solutions and emissions measurements and verifications. Dr. Alkadi holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Energy Engineering from West Virginia University, where he also served as a graduate research and teaching assistant.

Dr. Alkadi has held various leadership roles in several organizations, including the founder of Sustainable Energy Practice at Energy and Sustainability Leadership. He also served as an Energy Ecology and Sustainability Leader at Baker Hughes and an Environmental Systems Technical Manager at GE. He was also a Staff Research Scientist for Energy and Sustainability at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Plant Energy Engineering Manager specializing in Sustainability Engineering at General Motors.

Dr. Alkadi's passion for energy efficiency has been recognized with multiple certifications, including Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Demand Side Management (CDSM) by the American Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He has also served as ex-editor in chief of the international journal of energy technology and policy (IJETP) by inderscience publishers, UK.

In addition to managing energy and environmental projects with organizations such as USAID, Commission of European Community (CEC), and the Japanese International Corporation Agency (JICA), Dr. Alkadi's notable achievements also include serving as Principal Investigator for Environment Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and Natural Resource Canada (NRcan) methane detection and quantification research projects.
