GV

Part of the early team at Google Ventures, where I got to play a variety of investment and operational roles. I sourced and co-led investments in seven companies in spaces that included consumer internet, education, healthcare, and mobile, including three successful exits to date. I also led or co-led diligence that resulted in nearly $150M in investments and multiple successful exits, including one IPO and four acquisitions. I had the opportunity to work with a number of portfolio companies in areas of product marketing, product development, and partnerships. Finally, I got to do some other fun things, including product managing GV's proprietary deal tracking and information management tool and helping launch googleventures.com.

As a PMM, I ran acquisition and brand marketing programs for Google display advertising platforms. This included product positioning, online and offline advertising, developing sales marketing materials, and building a competitive intelligence program to educate sellers and PMs on the display advertising industry. I also led marketing and contributed to product strategy for a display ad tool for small businesses, and was able to help grow revenue 150% in one quarter.
