Zoelle EgnerOakland, California, United States
Bio
Most recently headed up comms/outreach and was a member of the board at Vaccinate The States (formerly VaccinateCA), working to accelerate the COVID-19 vaccination effort.

Previously employee 11 at Airtable, leading the early marketing and customer success teams.

Other experiences include: social media and editorial lead for Box, a publicly-traded cloud collaboration company; operations (everything but coding and sometimes that too) at a YC and 500 Startups-backed startup acquired by Box; marketing and communications design for the largest provider of afterschool education in Southern California; project management, program design, and analytics for green initiatives in consumer electronics business of nationwide retailer; and data packaging and communications strategy in the realms of healthcare and non-profit arts management.

Academically, fascinated by digital literature, contemporary experimental print literature, the future of the book, and the interaction between narrative and technology.

Creatively, a published poet and writer of science fiction with interest in leveraging business and communications skills to assist arts and literacy-focused nonprofits. I also dabble aggressively in digital publishing: past projects/positions include associate editor at Sirens.io; co-founder for The Lit Slam, a performance-curated print journal based in San Francisco; and writer on alternate reality games including We are Earthborne, an ARG by Immersive Fiction launched in 2012.
