Bio
I have more than 25 years of experience leading teams and shaping corporate narratives for some of the world’s most innovative and disruptive brands. I am currently a partner and the Chief Marketing Officer at Bessemer Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that funds consumer, enterprise, and healthcare startups. My team and I work closely with portfolio companies on their marketing strategies and brand communications. Previously, I was the Chief Marketing Officer of LinkedIn, where I spent close to a decade. I am a member of the Boards of Directors of Vidyard (since 2017) and Quizlet (since 2020). I am also an advisor to several companies and an active angel investor. I pride myself on being a strong operational executive and a world-class manager and leader.

I was named one of the world’s most influential CMOs for three consecutive years by Forbes Magazine, and I was described by PRWeek in 2017 as “a force of nature any company would want on their side.” I get infinite satisfaction from regularly mentoring marketing and communications professionals throughout all stages of their careers. Also as part of my role at LinkedIn, I had the privilege of interviewing a variety of luminaries, including Richard Branson, Chelsea Clinton, Reed Hastings, Reid Hoffman and Michelle Obama, on large stages.

I live in Burlingame, Calif. with my husband and two children. My hobbies include reading the news, traveling with my family, and doing the New York Times crossword each day.
