Zouhair Mahboubi

Zouhair Mahboubi is a highly accomplished technical, business, and people's leader with a diverse background in product management, operations, and optimization. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aeronautics and Astronautics and an MS in Aeronautics and Aerospace from Stanford University, where he studied Constructive Collaboration at Kellogg Executive Education. He also holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from McGill University, where he studied an Exchange Year in Mechanical Engineering at Technische Universität München.

Throughout his career, Zouhair has demonstrated expertise in business planning, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and optimization, simulations, estimation, control theory, reinforcement learning, and data visualization. He has also significant experience in unmanned air systems design, control, and flight-testing, as well as air traffic management (UTM). Zouhair has worked with various programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Julia, ROS, and Matlab.

Zouhair has held several positions, including Product Management Lead (Autonomy) for Joby Aviation, Founder of 7 Knots LLC, Senior Data Scientist at BlackRock, Head of Product - Director of Strategy and Partnerships at Kitty Hawk, Aerospace Engineer at Zee.Aero, Research Assistant at NASA Ames Research Center, and Teaching Assistant at McGill University.
