Zoë Barry is a distinguished serial entrepreneur, a Mentor in Residence with Techstars, and an accomplished angel investor. Her entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of ZappRx in 2012, driven by a personal experience with a family member's medical condition. ZappRx, often referred to as the "Amazon Prime for $100K/year specialty medication," saw immense success, raising over $42M before being acquired by Allscripts in 2019.
Building on her early success, Zoë ventured into her second startup, Zingeroo, in 2019. This tech startup revolutionized stock trading by making it competitive, social, and educational. Over 4 years, Zingeroo raised an impressive $13.5M, with the trading app launching in the iOS store in 2021 and available for download until 2023.
Besides her entrepreneurial pursuits, Zoë is deeply involved in mentoring first-time founders and has invested in over 20 startups. Her contributions extend to working closely with Techstars and Boston Venture Studio, reflecting her commitment to fostering the startup ecosystem.
Zoë Barry's accomplishments have been widely recognized, earning her prestigious titles such as one of Inc. Magazine’s 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 in 2015, Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2015, and Medtech Boston's 40 under 40 Healthcare Innovators in 2016. Beyond the business realm, Zoë indulges in amateur racecar driving and is an enthusiastic skier.
Education-wise, Zoë pursued BA in Anthropology and History from Columbia College, Columbia University. She also undertook post-baccalaureate coursework in the Health Careers Program at Harvard University.
