Hyper-V Agentless Security -Since Microsoft doesn't provide an official way for inter-VM communication, there are so many unknown issues and challenges for developing such proprietary mechanism.1. Coordinate resources for Hyper-V technology study and problem solving. 2. Design and develop Hyper-V inter-VM communication mechanism including shared memory management, hyper-v message communication and VM management for security solution. I implemented this solution by using two WDF drivers. 3. Windows file filter driver for agent less malware scan including performance enhancement such as deferred scan and persistent cache design and implementation.April - August 2015 Working on Connected Threat Defense project for Deep Security, including   * Architecture design   * Spec design for integration with other team   * Solution integrationAugust - nowIn charge of security enhancement for the next version of Deep Security   * Define feature set and design   * Co-work with other teams to deliver solutions.

- In charge of scanning and cleaning flow of Anti-Malware Solution Platform (AMSP1.2/1.5/1.6/2.0/2.1).•	AMSP 1.5 *Learning and kept learning because I was a new comer. *Improve manual scan performance.•	AMSP 2.0 * As a project lead, I had to coordinate with and communicate with lot of engine teams and one product team to get features done. * As a project lead, I helped my team deliver high-quality software. * Engaged two teams to deliver a feature which was not in the feature list we were working on, but I though it’s important to avoid false alarms of malware cleaning. * Improved the 2nd time full scan performance up to 80% by using journal scan. * Designed power saving mechanism in order to reduce power consumption of laptops. * Designed NCIE (Network Content Inspection Engine) clean flow. * Integrated Fake AV removal feature. * Integrated DCE (Damage Clean Engine) reboot clean results.Note: AMSP is the core framework of Trend Micro PC-cillin and Deep Security Windows AM solution. AMSP is the Windows endpoint AM solution in Trend Micro. AMSP2.0 is the first version released to the market.

Communications Network Business Unit•	As a manager, I led my team to * Verify the WLAN chip. * Design and develop mac80211 Linux driver. * Design and develop mass production tools. * Develop WLAN NDIS driver.•	Designed and implemented a testing framework to verify WLAN packets being transmitted between two machines.•	Proposed a hardware design to increase stability and avoid the whole chip reset when the USB bus is not reliable.•	Assist other departments to solve problems, like performance issue etc.

UWB (Ultra Wide Band) Business Unit•	Learnt WDF (Windows Driver Foundation) * Redesigned and rewrote the WHCI (Wireless USB with PCIe interface) bus driver to replace the buggy one. * Assumed to be the first person who used WDF for developing drivers in Realtek. * I love WDF.•	Designed and implemented WiNET (networking by using UWB) MFC UI.•	Modified Wireless USB (WUSB) Linux open source to support Realtek WUSB dongle. •	Added power management and radio on/off functionalities for the legacy WHCI driver.•	Customers support.

Senior Engineer

- Designed SDIO/CF+/Mixed AD hardware host interface for the WLAN SoC chip. This is the first chip which has SDIO interface in Realtek. With lacking information and supports, I designed the software/hardware interface and internal protocols for it.•	Designed a SystemC testing framework to verify the chip described above. I am the first person to verify IC design using SystemC in this business unit. This change makes other teams starting to use SystemC to verify designs.•	Designed and implemented SDIO/CF+/Mixed AD SystemC host models.•	NOR flash boot code fine tune and rewrote it to support booting from NAND flash as well.•	Designed and implemented a proprietary protocol to support WLAN load balancing.•	Wrote Linux PCM driver of AP (Access Point) to play audio.•	Wrote virtual audio driver and applications on Windows in order to play audios from remote AP wirelessly. By doing so, the AP becomes a wireless speaker.
