Zia Qadir is a renowned innovator in structural engineering with over 14 years of experience in transforming intangible ideas into innovative solutions and opportunities. Her passion for aeronautics technology and its potential to revolutionize and enable emerging private industries has led her to pioneer in structural engineering and manufacturing. She is an accomplished strategic planner and business developer with technical expertise in analyzing full air vehicle structures, detail parts, and mechanical systems. Zia has practical expertise in prototype design and production run manufacturing methods as it pertains to stress analysis and design trade-offs.

Apart from being a pioneer in structural engineering, Zia has specialized in materials development, composite materials qualification, equivalency, & testing, large/primary structures manufacturing, fuselage, wings, and control surfaces. She has experience in processing and fab, out-of-autoclave (OOA), low and high temp resin systems, and tooling design, such as composite and metal tooling, prototype/short run/production. Being a quality conscious individual, she has expertise in GD&T, ISO9001, AS9100, AS7003 Nadcap, Faro Arm, API Tracker, and SpatialAnalyzer. Zia is also an expert in CAD/CAM/PLM, with 10,000+ hrs of experience with CATIA V5 (CPD, GSD), Vistagy: FiberSIM, and CutWorks.

Zia has studied Materials Science and Engineering, Fiber Reinforced Composite Materials at the University of Washington. She has been a part of leading organizations such as ZMQ Ventures, Stratolaunch, Firefly Aerospace, The Spaceship Company, and Park Aerospace Structures Corp. Her professional experience and expertise in composite structures, composite joints, and structural analysis using hand calculation, finite element method, FEMAP, and NEi Nastran have made her a valuable contributor to the industry.
