As a Business Strategy Manager I am typically staffed on traditional consulting projects as a Team Lead (Engagement Manager), managing 1-2 project work streams with a staff of consultants and analysts. Responsibilities also include sales and business development. I specialize in projects involving corporate innovation, ecosystem strategy and enablement, open innovation, and digital business building (through Bloom, see above). I also cover work streams involving agile or waterfall program and project management.

I established the Singapore node of Accenture Ventures. In this role, I mapped out the ventures and startup ecosystem for Accenture, with a heavy focus on SEA and Singapore in particular. I curated over 500 enterprise-ready startups across a range of industry and technology domains, focusing both on global strategic priorities (e.g. cybersecurity) as well as more regionally-relevant domains (e.g. agri-tech). I shaped Accenture's value proposition to clients and the broader startup ecosystem, and developed operational processes and standards. Through the Open Innovation program, I successfully matched numerous clients and startups, creating significant value for Accenture, Accenture's clients, and the startups themselves.

Accenture Ventures, Open Innovation Lead - Singapore

I led V-Key's first business-driven product management function (as opposed to engineering-driven product management), based on understanding client and end-user requirements, and translating requirements into prioritized user story backlogs for the engineering teams. During this time, we also developed V-Key's first appliance product. Critically, I was the bridge between the technical and newly established sales and marketing teams, fostering a dialog of understanding between business/engineering and vice versa. I single-handedly managed V-Key's end-to-end involvement in the inaugural Singapore Fintech Festival, including product marketing and messaging, event management, booth construction, and related sales operations.
