Zeyad Zaky is a doctor of mechanical engineering who has developed computational modeling software and has a passion for applied mathematical methods and engineering models. Zaky is skilled in math modeling, physical simulation modeling, numerical mathematics, numerical computing, FEM, meshing, ray tracing, scientific computing, optimization, machine learning, CNNs, CFD, and heat transfer. Zaky has worked as a computer vision engineer at Apple, a graduate scholar at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a graduate student researcher at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, a graduate student researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and a teaching assistant at UCLA. With a focus on solving engineering problems, Zaky is particularly interested in optimization methods, thermal management, energy, manufacturing, and simulation design.
