    Zephrine Hanson, a veteran of the United States Air Force with a background in media communications and journalism, transitioned to freelance photography after her medical retirement in 2004. She later pursued a degree in communications and relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2016 for a more holistic lifestyle. Embracing veteran programs, she engaged in various initiatives like The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities and Veterans to Farmers program.

    Zephrine founded Hampden Farms, a suburban farming project focusing on sustainable farming solutions and artisanal products made from organic ingredients. She collaborated with the Denver Botanic Gardens, obtaining her Herbalism Certification and serving as a Self-Care Share Producer and Farmer. Zephrine is actively involved in MileHigh Farmers and contributes to the Food Policy Cohort for LiveWell, advocating for equitable access to healthy food and physical activity in Colorado.

    Passionate about sustainable farming and entrepreneurship, Zephrine is pursuing the Bunker Lab’s Veteran-in-Residence program. She also champions Autism awareness and education, serving on the TACT board. When not dedicating herself to her ventures, Zephrine enjoys spending time with her partner and three children, engaging in LEGO builds and tech-related explorations.
