Zeid Barakat
Zeid Barakat is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in both business and biotechnology. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Management and Entrepreneurship from the prestigious MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Biochemistry from Bowdoin College. Additionally, Barakat has studied Biotechnology at Harvard University.
Throughout his career, Barakat has held various leadership roles, including Managing Director, Senior Director, and Director at Scimitar Inc. He has also co-founded Flyberry Capital and served as Chief Operations Officer. Prior to Scimitar Inc., Barakat was a Senior Manager at PwC and held various positions in biotech, including Portfolio Management Summer Intern at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (NIBR), Associate Scientist to Associate Director at Altus Pharmaceuticals, Research Analyst at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Early Co-Founder at Aura Biosciences.
Barakat's expertise lies in management, entrepreneurship, biotechnology, finance, and strategy. He has an interest in utilizing his skills to help businesses, especially those in the biotech industry, reach their full potential.
