Zeenat Rahman

Zeenat Rahman is a distinguished non-profit executive who brings more than 15 years of experience in the public sector. She has a diverse background in government, private sector, and NGO’s. Her career spans across national security, foreign policy, and leadership development, and she has a deep understanding of diverse communities, including faith-based organizations. Zeenat is a recognized expert in global youth issues, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and civil society and democracy. Zeenat has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She also studied Arabic Language and Culture at Al Akhawayn University.
Zeenat has worked at the US Department of State, where she served as the Secretary of State's Special Adviser for Global Youth Issues. She was also the Director of Policy at the Interfaith Youth Core and Acting and Deputy Director Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at US Agency for International Development. Currently, Zeenat serves as the Director of the Inclusive America Project at The Aspen Institute and is a former fellow at the Institute of Politics, University of Chicago.
