Zak Knudsen

Zak Knudsen is a seasoned technical product delivery expert currently based in Barcelona with a diverse background in computer hardware manufacturing, retail sales, IT consulting, and web development.

From July 2014 to August 2020, Zak held the position of Partner and Technical Director at Rush Hour Media in Hong Kong, where he managed a team of web developers remotely from Barcelona and oversaw the successful delivery of over 100 websites for clients, primarily on the WordPress platform.

Zak Knudsen's professional journey began in 2003 in computer hardware manufacturing, eventually transitioning to retail sales, training, and IT consulting before making his mark in web development and technical project management.

His technical expertise lies in the LAMP stack, including PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and MySQL, along with VPS administration using Apache on various Linux distributions. Additionally, Zak has ventured into learning systems programming with Rust, WebAssembly for web applications, and enhancing SQL databases with PostgreSQL.

Beyond his tech prowess, Zak Knudsen is an avid live comedy enthusiast and performer, having been involved with groups like People's Liberation Improv in Hong Kong and co-founding the comedic storytelling show Hong Komedy Guerilla.
