Zahrah Ektefaei

Zahrah Ektefaei is a dedicated educator with a passion for implementing effective instructional practices in her classroom.

Her teaching style includes group discussions, independent reading, challenging science investigations, and differentiated activities, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Zahrah believes in exposing young people to experiences beyond the classroom to prepare them for success in school and in life.

Her educational background includes a Master's in Religion & Religious Education, a Master's in Communication Studies-Media Specialist, a Bachelor's in Speech Communications, and a High School Diploma.

She has also studied Education at the Master's level.

Zahrah has held various roles in organizations such as PLI Coordinator at Galveston ISD, Aquatic Science teacher, UIL Academic Coordinator, CLF, and Dept Chair at Galveston ISD, Middle School Science Teacher at NYC Department of Education, and Associate Director at the Archdiocese of Galveston.

She has also worked in administrative positions at Denihan Hospitality Group, Brand Marketers, Clear Channel Malls, Clear Channel Outdoor, Clear Channel Radio, and St. Mary's University.

Her broad experience demonstrates her versatility, leadership skills, and commitment to supporting student success.
