Zahid Hassan

Zahid Hassan is a seasoned QA QC Manager at Nautilus Solar Energy with in-depth experience in the solar industry, specializing in Initial Design Review, Construction Progress Inspection, and Commissioning Inspection of solar PV power plants.

With a strong background in solar PV power plant commissioning, maintenance, and NABCEP certification, Hassan has played key roles in installation, commissioning, and maintenance processes at various solar PV power plants.

Previously, he spearheaded O&M operations for Northeast solar PV power plants, overseeing preventative, predictive maintenance, and corrective action for around 50 MW of capacity. Collaborating closely with Asset Management teams, he demonstrated a knack for identifying and rectifying performance-affecting factors.

Before joining Nautilus Solar Energy, Hassan was instrumental as the NE Team Lead in Field Service Operations at SunEdison, managing operations for over 100 MW of solar PV power plants. His professional journey also includes roles in the IT industry as a business development manager and in industrial laser systems as a manufacturing engineer.

Hassan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from Pittsburg State University and is a graduate of Solar Energy International's Renewable Energy Education Program, where he specialized in Solar PV Systems Design and Installation.

His expertise spans across quality assurance, quality control, project management, solar PV systems, field service operations, maintenance, commissioning, and various engineering disciplines.
