Zack Chen-McCaig is a dedicated student pursuing Mechanical Engineering and Business Management at RMIT University.
With a passion for engineering from a young age, Zack has worked on a variety of projects including water filtration, mechanical crane, mechatronics robots, and mechanical properties testing for metals.
His interest in engineering blossomed at the age of eight while assembling mechatronics mini-racing cars, teaching him the valuable lesson that with logical problem-solving and dedication, any challenge can be overcome.
An early adopter of technology, Zack self-taught Objective C and developed a physics app called 'ExpVCEPhy' for the Apple app store, which gained traction with 100 downloads on the first day.
In 2015, Zack earned certification as an Apple phone technician and gained experience working in phone and tablet repair services.
Zack's entrepreneurial spirit also shone through as he participated in RMIT business competitions, achieving the status of a second-round finalist on two occasions.
A constant learner, Zack dedicates time each day to read books and business reviews, currently immersing himself in the book 'BOLD' focusing on exponential technology.
With a mindset geared towards steady growth and perseverance, Zack aims to make incremental progress daily towards his goals.
