Zachia Nazarzai is a highly educated professional with a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in International Development Studies & Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

With a rich and diverse professional background, Zachia has held various noteworthy positions, including being the Director of International Relations, Policy, and Protocol at the City of Los Angeles. Prior to this, Zachia served as the Executive Director at the Afghan-American Conference and held roles such as Associate Director of Neighborhood Services, Senior Policy Analyst, and Policy Analyst in the Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti at the City of Los Angeles.

Zachia's experience extends beyond Los Angeles, having been a Fellow at the National League of Cities and the City of Pittsburgh. Additionally, Zachia has contributed to the education sector, having served as Office Manager at City Charter Schools and in roles such as Leadership Coordinator at Peer Health Exchange and Access Coordinator at Mentors for Academic and Peer Support.
