Zachary Wentzell is an accomplished PhD student at The University of Texas at Austin with extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Prior to his doctoral studies, Wentzell earned a master's degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics with a Data Science specialization from Stevens Institute of Technology. Additionally, he holds a bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Louisiana State University and a PhD in Computational Analysis and Modeling with a focus on Data Mining from Louisiana Tech University.

Wentzell has also completed a certificate program towards graduate studies in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Texas State University-San Marcos and held positions such as Lead Data Scientist at Backstage and Data Scientist/Backend Python Developer at AppCard, Inc. He has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology and is a former student of The Data Incubator.

Throughout his career, Wentzell has demonstrated exceptional problem-solving and innovation skills. His interest in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence has driven him to pursue a PhD in Plant Biology at The University of Texas at Austin.
