Zachary Norman is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in the tech, gaming, and entertainment industries.
As the President and Founder of TRIPP, Zachary spearheaded the delivery of a groundbreaking virtual reality experience designed to positively impact users' brain chemistry through immersive gameplay, establishing TRIPP as a leader in the VR Mindfulness sector.
Prior to TRIPP, he held key roles such as Founder, President & Chief Creative Officer at textPlus, where he oversaw the creation and management of the company's tech platform and product offerings.
Zachary co-founded JAMDAT Mobile, the first global mobile publisher of cell phone video games in the U.S., which later went public and was acquired by Electronic Arts. As SVP Worldwide Studios at JAMDAT, he led the development teams across multiple countries, emphasizing product quality, platform-native design, and utility, resulting in industry recognition for innovation and quality leadership.
Before his leadership roles at JAMDAT, Zachary served as Creative Director and Executive Producer at Activision, Inc., where he was instrumental in designing and managing successful video game titles such as Mechwarrior 2 & Interstate '76.
In addition to his tech and gaming ventures, Zachary is also known for his business acumen as a Co-Founder of Doggielawn/Barkpotty, where he focuses on developing the business framework to cater to the needs of subscribers, retail customers, and pets, emphasizing product design, growth strategies, and distribution.
Outside of the tech industry, Zachary's creative pursuits led him to a successful screenwriting career, notably contributing to the conception of the Best Picture Oscar-winning feature film Shakespeare In Love.
Zachary's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Boston University, complementing his hands-on experience and entrepreneurial spirit in various industries.
Moreover, he holds the unique distinction of having set a land speed record at Bonneville on his electric Harley-Davidson in 2008, showcasing his diverse interests and achievements.
