Zachary Leather
Economics and Climate Policy - Resolution Foundation
Zachary Leather is a highly accomplished economist with a broad range of experience in the public and private sectors. With a passion for public service and a wealth of knowledge in climate policy, he has made significant contributions to various organizations, including the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), where he worked as an assistant economist, analyst in private office, and economic advisor on green homes finance and carbon budgets analysis. He also gained invaluable experience in NGOs, serving as the Bangladesh intern at United Purpose and the September intern at Giving What We Can. In addition, Zachary has organizational experience, acting as treasurer at Balliol JCR, entertainment manager at Balliol Ball Committee, and cafe manager at Balliol JCR. Zachary holds a Master of Science in Economics from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
