One of Zach’s remarkable experiences was his time as a Fulbright Fellow at the Belo Horizonte Secretaria Municipal Adjunta de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional. This prestigious opportunity not only allowed him to gain international experience but also to be immersed in the intricacies of food security and nutrition policies in Brazil, thereby enhancing his knowledge and influencing his work in food systems.
Currently, as the Program Director of the Comida Program at Southside United HDFC (Los Sures), Zach leads initiatives aimed at improving food access in underserved communities.
