Why is health care in America so .... oh. https://t.co/naEKB4r0YO
The elephant in the room:
The US spends more on health care per person than ever before, and more than nearly all other countries.
The largest category of US health care expenditures is related to back pain.
The leading indicator that you will experience back pain is being overweight.
America is getting fatter with no signs of stopping. We either continue to increase health care costs as a % of GDP, or start making healthier choices (don't say it's not possible, most of the developed world is thinner than us!), or it's inevitable that we experience more of what is pissing people off: insurers denying claims.
