Yuval Shachar

Yuval Shachar is an accomplished Managing Partner at Team8 Group, a renowned venture capital firm specializing in enterprise digital transformation, cyber, data, and AI.

With a rich background in technology and innovation, Yuval has been instrumental in founding and developing several successful companies such as Sygnia, Portshift, Claroty, Illusive, Hysolate, Curv, Duality, noogata, Visible Risk, and others, with partnerships involving major industry players like Cisco, Microsoft, and Softbank.

Prior to his role at Team8 Group, Yuval co-founded Marker-LLC, a prominent venture capital firm investing in Israeli and US-based technology companies, and served as an Investment Partner at Innovation Endeavours before merging the two entities.

Yuval's early career saw him as a General Manager at Cisco, where he also co-founded P-Cube and Pentacom, both later acquired by Cisco, and played a key role in creating Infogear. He held leadership positions at VocalTec, National Semiconductors, and Motorola.

A holder of a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, Yuval is also credited with multiple technology patents.
