Joined Linkedin as a principle engineer to drive all of the Linkedin transformation from a large enterprise data center to a mega data center operator. Initially started with driving the network architecture to 25G/50G/100G path and created the “Single-SKU” data center meaning the full 100K scale data center from a single 1RU 32x100G box. Following that starting the data center optimization architecture with the Open19 project which ended up with much more than optimizing the data center. The Open19 project delivered a global solution for data center and Edge in any size and any location. The Open19 project was important for so many companies that we decided to drive the Open19 Foundation that I led building. I continued my work in optimizing the Linkedin compute, storage, and network footprint addressing very high growth Linkedin I experiencing now.
Since 2016 I have been driving an industry awareness and solutions to Edge Cloud solutions across event and interested parties meeting driving the next wave of data center technology to a active production technology hand in hand with the emerge of the 5G networks.
