Yuri Sagalov is the Managing Partner at Wayfinder Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital fund focused on making first-check investments in startups. He co-founded AeroFS, an enterprise collaboration company that was acquired by Redbooth in 2017.12 Prior to founding Wayfinder Ventures, Yuri was a partner at Y Combinator from 2014 to 2018 and has been an active angel investor, contributing to the growth of several unicorn startups with a combined enterprise value exceeding $25 billion.34
Yuri holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, where he also began a Master's degree in Computer Engineering before leaving to co-found AeroFS.2 His investment portfolio includes companies such as Flexport, Boom Supersonic, Nurx, and Observe AI, among others.12 Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Yuri is also known for his passion for flying and sailing.3
