Yuliya Zapadnya is an experienced manager and analyst at Svitla Systems, Inc., a global software development company with offices in San Francisco and Europe. With a Bachelor's degree in Philology (foreign languages) from Kharkov Institute of Social Progress, Yuliya has been instrumental in leading Sales & Recruiting Process, Business Development and Office Management at the company. She has managed offshore dedicated software development teams, executed software development, maintenance and testing projects, and augmented IT/engineering staff in the US. Yuliya's expertise lies in designing, coding and porting custom software applications while utilizing the latest world methodologies such as Rational Unified Process (RUP), Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), and Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM). She has also developed several mobile applications for a wide range of business needs on iOS, Android and Blackberry platforms. Outside of work, Yuliya enjoys tutoring the English language and has held instructional roles in the past.
