Yugal holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Sustainability, where he graduated with honors from the National University of Singapore.

His educational journey also took him to GEMS Modern Academy in Dubai, where he pursued the ISC program under the esteemed GEMS Education.

In his professional career, Yugal has held various roles that have honed his expertise and skills in the energy and financial sectors.

He has served as a Financial Advisor specializing in Acquisitions, Investments, and Financial Advisory at ENGIE, a pivotal role that showcases his financial acumen and strategic thinking.

Prior to his role at ENGIE, Yugal was an Energy Transition Advisor handling Special Projects at Senoko Energy, further solidifying his experience in the energy industry.

Yugal's tenure at Schneider Electric saw him in two key positions, first as a Business Development Manager in the Partner Business division, and later as a Management Trainee focusing on Channel Development and Inside Sales within the same division. These roles underlined his expertise in business growth strategies and sales management.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Yugal was a Research Engineer at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore in the Building Performance Group, where he furthered his knowledge in sustainable energy solutions.

His professional journey also includes a role as a Resource Management Analyst specializing in Power and Water at GE Power, where he gained valuable insights into the power sector.

Yugal Kasbekar's early career involved stints as a Sustainability Consultant at Carbon Conservation / Carbon Agro, demonstrating his commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
