Yuchun Lee
Yuchun Lee is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Allego, a company specializing in sales learning and enablement through a mobile video-based platform. He has held this position since Allego's inception in 2013. Before founding Allego, Lee was the Vice President and General Manager of IBM's Enterprise Marketing Management Group, a role he assumed following IBM's acquisition of Unica Corporation, which he co-founded in 1992. Under his leadership, Unica went public and was later sold to IBM for over $500 million.124
Lee is also recognized for his involvement in the MIT Blackjack Team, which gained fame for card counting and inspired the book and movie "Bringing Down the House" and "21." His success in this venture helped him finance Unica.34
In addition to his role at Allego, Lee is an Executive in Residence at General Catalyst Partners and serves on the board of Vertex Pharmaceuticals. He has been acknowledged as a thought leader in technology and marketing, holding several patents and co-authoring a book on data mining.125 Lee holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from Babson College.12
