Dr. Yousuf Jamal is an accomplished Environmental Engineer with a background in research and academia.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University and completed his Post-doctorate training in the field from the University of Ulsan, South Korea.
Currently, Dr. Jamal serves as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology in Islamabad, Pakistan.
His research interests primarily focus on separation technologies for CO2 capture, utilization, and storage.
Dr. Jamal is a registered Chemical Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council and has a diverse educational background, including a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, and an MS in E-Business and Project Management from Hamdard University.
He has previously worked in various roles such as Biofuels Researcher at Texas A&M University, Research Scholar, Technical Business Engineer at Siecon Engineering, and Chemical Engineer in the Ammonia Section at Dawood Hercules Chemicals Ltd.
Dr. Jamal is currently offering research opportunities in coal to energy and separation technologies for CO2 capture, with a special preference for PhDs in Chemical or Energy Engineering and Environmental Chemistry based in Pakistan.
