Yousef AlBalawi

Yousef AlBalawi is a seasoned Health Promotion Specialist with vast experience in the government administration sector.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health Education and Promotion from the National University of Ireland, Galway, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Public Health from Oxford Brookes University, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from King Faisal University in Dammam.

Throughout his career, Yousef has held various key positions such as Health Promotion Consultant at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia, Lecturer in Community Medicine Combined Residency Programme at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), and Visiting Health Promotion Research Fellow at the Health Promotion Research Centre, NUI Galway.

His expertise lies in Social Media Analytics, Agenda Setting, and Health Promotion.

Yousef AlBalawi has also played significant roles in projects such as 'Health in All Policies' Project at VRO, MoH, accreditation in the 'Healthy Cities Programme' at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia in Madinah, and the 'Model of Care' project at VRO, MoH.

Over the years, he has honed his skills in Health Promotion by being a Health Promotion Specialist at various departments within the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia including the Public Health Department and the Medina Health Directorate.
