Yixiu holds a Master's in Design from the Institute of Design (ID) and a Bachelor's (Hons) in Industrial Design from the National University of Singapore, complemented by studies in Industrial Design at Delft University of Technology.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Head of Design - Retail Experience and Strategic Initiatives at Verizon, as well as Senior Director, Design Director, and various UX design positions at Moment.

Prior to this, she contributed her skills as a Design Researcher at McDonald's, a Design Strategist at Design Incubation Centre, and an Industrial Designer at Lawton & Yeo Design Associates.
