Yink Teo

Yink Teo is currently leading an engineering organization at Sourcegraph where his focus is on developing top-notch code search and developer productivity tools for a global audience.

Before this, Yink founded and managed an Ads Product Foundations group at Twitter, overseeing a team of 4 teams comprising approximately 25 individual contributors and 3 engineering managers across various core areas such as Ads API Infra, Data Services, Creatives Infra, and Business Foundations.

His professional journey includes leadership roles at both early-stage and mid-stage startups, one of which was acquired by Twitter.

Yink Teo holds a B.S.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University and has also completed his GCE A Levels at Raffles Institution.

Throughout his career, he has held positions such as Director Of Engineering at Sourcegraph, Senior Engineering Manager at Twitter, Head Of Engineering at ReferralCandy, Software Engineer at TellApart, and various other engineering roles at esteemed organizations.

In addition to his professional experience, Yink has also served as a Research Assistant/Pratt Fellow at Duke University and as a Platoon Commander in the Singapore Armed Forces.
