Ying (Edison) Sheng is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Applied Economics at Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Art and Science.
During his academic journey, Ying has been involved in various extracurricular activities showcasing his leadership skills and commitment to community service. He dedicated his time to the Breakfast Book Club at John Green Elementary School in Dublin, California, where he assisted children in selecting books and purchasing breakfast. Additionally, he played a pivotal role as the vice president of Echo Studios, a Chinese student organization at The Ohio State University, where he focused on securing sponsorships for the organization.
Ying's professional experience includes an internship at China Merchants Securities Company, where he contributed to the pre-public preparatory team by analyzing and verifying data for mid and small businesses listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations. Moreover, he gained valuable experience as a student assistant at Traditions at Scott within The Ohio State University student life Dining service department.
Outside of his academic and professional endeavors, Ying has been actively investing in the stock market since 2016. He also enjoys road trips and winter sports such as skiing during his free time, showcasing his diverse interests and active lifestyle.
