Yi Wei

Yi Wei is a highly dedicated individual who has made a significant impact on the world through her work in social business, impact investing, international development, microfinance, global health, and financial services. She is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in social studies and music, and she earned her MBA from the University of Chicago. Yi has held several senior positions in various organizations, including her current role as Senior Director of Capital Deployment Initiatives at Momentus Capital. She has also served as a Board Member for HFS Chicago Scholars and as VP of Impact Capital at IFF (CDFI). Yi's diverse skill set includes market development, value chain development, BOP markets, social enterprise, community engagement, strategic partnerships, marketing strategy, and public speaking. She is a former Global Director of WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) at iDE and was previously the WASH Innovation Manager of the Global WASH Initiative. Additionally, Yi has held roles such as Curriculum Adviser and Translator at Junior Achievement Argentina and Mandarin Content Producer at Fluenz.
