    Dr. Yi Qian is a distinguished professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. With a rich background in academia, industry, and government, Dr. Qian has held various key positions in the telecommunications industry, including roles at Nortel Networks and several startup companies.

    His extensive expertise lies in communications and systems, information and communication network security, wireless communications and systems, sensing and sensor networks, vehicular communications, smart grid communications, broadband satellite communications, optical communications, high-speed communications and networks, and the Internet of Things.
