Ye Li has made a name for herself in the field of basketball. She is a former professional basketball player and is now the Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. She is also the faculty director of the Emerging Markets Institute at the same university. Li is a graduate of Peking University, in Beijing, China where she earned a degree in Chinese Language and Literature. She later moved to the United States of America and earned her Ph.D. in Management from the University of California, Los Angeles, UCLA. She has played for various teams such as the Guangdong Dolphins, Shanghai Sharks, Cleveland Rockers, Sacramento Monarchs, and the San Antonio Silver Stars.
