Yashwant Sagar

Yashwant Sagar is a Technology Analyst at Infosys who specializes in Data and Analytics with a focus on Data Engineering. He has a diverse educational background, having obtained a B.Tech in Information Technology from SRM University, as well as a Brown Belt - 2nd Kyu in Shotokan Karate-Do. Yashwant is interested in a plethora of fields, including Distributed Computing with Spark, Stream Analytics using Storm, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Mathematical Analysis of Algorithms and Simulations, and Competitive Programming.

His technical expertise includes working with several programming languages such as Java, Python 3.4, Scala, C++, Bash Scripting, and NodeJS. Yashwant has experience with Microsoft Stack, including MS-SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework. He also has extensive experience working with Cloud platforms and tools such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. His experience in AWS includes using Kinesis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Cloudwatch Dashboards, SNS, and SQS. Additionally, he is a certified Microsoft Azure Developer (70-532), and has experience working with Azure App Services, CosmosDB, Azure Schedulers, Application Insights, HDInsight Spark and Kafka Clusters, Event Hub, Azure Queues and Tables, Service Bus, and Redis Cache.

In his free time, he enjoys taking Stephen Grider's course on Docker and Kubernetes, training in martial arts, and eating pizza.
