Yaroslav Nikolaev

Yaroslav Nikolaev is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background. He pursued postgraduate studies in Systems Biology at ETH Zürich, Computational Biology at The University of Manchester, and obtained a PhD in Structural molecular biology from the Universität Basel. He also engaged in programs like VentureLab at EPFL and Biomolecular NMR at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich. Additionally, he holds an M.Sc. in Computer-aided design and web development from Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Saint Petersburg State University.
Yaroslav Nikolaev has held various key positions in esteemed organizations, showcasing his expertise and leadership abilities. Currently, he serves as the Head of Computational and Biomolecular Science at InterAx Biotech AG. Previously, he has worked as a Guest Scientist at ETH Zürich, Team Leader and Research Manager in Computational Systems and Structural Biology at InterAx Biotech AG, Principal Scientist in Computational Biology at InterAx Biotech AG, Senior Scientist in BioNMR & Computational/Systems Biology at ETH Zürich, and a PostDoc in BioNMR & Computational/Systems Biology, also at ETH Zürich. His professional journey also includes roles such as Advisor at ForeScience and Co-founder & CxO at ForeScience GmbH. He started his career as a PhD student in Structural Biology/NMR at the University of Basel, followed by positions as a Research Assistant in Biomolecular NMR at ETH Zurich, Laboratory of Physical Chemistry, and as a Research Assistant in Organic Chemistry at Saint Petersburg State University, Chemistry Faculty.
