Yaroslav Astafiev

Yaroslav Astafiev is a highly experienced and accomplished software developer and technology leader. He has an impressive educational background, having studied both Engineering/Industrial Management and Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the prestigious Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT), where he achieved excellent grades.

Astafiev has held numerous positions of responsibility in some of Russia's leading IT and software development companies. He has worked at Sberbank-Technology, one of the country's largest financial institutions, where he held roles including Head Of IT Division, Head of IT Systems Development, and Teamlead\Delivery Manager. He was also an electronics engineer and parallel programming teacher at MIPT, Phystech. In addition, Astafiev has experience as a software architect at The AnyLogic Company, where he is currently Head of Development, and as a test automation lead and Java developer at Competentum Group.

Astafiev is a highly skilled and knowledgeable technology professional with expertise in software architecture, IT systems development, parallel programming, and test automation. He is interested in the fields of engineering and industrial management and has excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Outside of work, he is an active member of the Podlodka TeamleadCrew Conf, where he is Head of the Program Committee.
