Yael Karov is an experienced AI expert, entrepreneur and executive, with over 20 years of experience delivering world-leading AI-based products to the market. She has a proven track record of leading the technologies of several startups from inception to exit, including two IPOs and two acquisitions. With a background in mathematics and computer science, Karov has earned recognition in the industry as an inventor of 53 patents. She is currently leading a new Google venture for next-gen AI for Android, as Director of Engineering, Machine Intelligence & Research. Prior to this role, Karov was Partner Science Manager at Microsoft AI & Research, and Founder, CEO and Chief Scientist at Ginger Software. She has also held senior positions at Rosetta Genomics and Agentics, and founded and managed the Nester/Palatine business unit at ClickSoftware.
