Xiaokui Zhang is a seasoned professional with over fifteen years of expertise in spearheading discovery, research, and development within the biopharmaceutical sector, focusing on advancing research programs from discovery stage to early clinical development in areas such as functional regeneration, immuno-oncology, and hematology applications.

He specializes in various areas including Biotechnology, Cancer Immunotherapy, Adoptive Cellular Therapy, Hematopoietic Cell, Stem Cell, Functional Genomics, CNS Disorders, Gene Expression, and Transcription Regulation.

Xiaokui Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from Rockefeller University and a BS in Physiology from Nanjing University.

Currently, he serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Celularity, Inc. Previously, he held pivotal roles at Celgene Cellular Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Research and Development, Director of Discovery Research, Senior Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist. He also contributed his expertise as a Senior Scientist at Helicon Therapeutics and a Research Fellow at Novartis.
