Xiaohua Fang

Xiaohua Fang is a dedicated space plasma researcher with extensive expertise in the dynamics of Earth and Mars' space plasma environments and their interaction with neutral atmospheres.

With a Ph.D. in Atmospheric and Space Sciences from the University of Michigan, and an M.S. in Space Physics from Peking University, Xiaohua's educational background is deeply rooted in space science.

Currently serving as a Research Scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder, Xiaohua has a strong focus on developing and utilizing physics-based numerical models to study charged-particle motion in space and its impact on atmospheres.

During Xiaohua's academic and professional journey, they have held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan.
